6 National Championships

The Australian National Championships were held at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium this weekend and what a weekend it was. It was run in conjunction with the Penrith Whitewater Stadiums 10th anniversary celebrations which included free recreational paddling, jumping castle, demonstrations by the State Emergency Service, National Talent Scouting by the Australian Institute of Sport for Slalom Kayaking, free kayak instruction all day plus a whole lot more. Even the local radio station came down to broadcast, lot of action for sure.

Thanks to all that made it such an awesome day including Head Judge Brock, thanks to James for helping with all the organizing and timing, and also thanks to all the sponsors that made it possible. Congratulations to all the winners on the day. I was stoked to get another C1 Championship for Team Jackson Kayak, that's 6 now.... Sweet!
