Hi Eric,
We are having so much fun running the rivers here in Colorado. The water is cold but the mountains are big and pretty. My Dad and me ran Gore Creek in Vail and I really had alot of fun competing in the ameteur contest, where I placed 2nd. We were in Salida for a week and the weather is much better than Vail. My Dad and me ran from Buena Vista hole to Ruby Mountain. And on our run we saw a mule deer eating on the side of the river, 5 ducks, and some geese. We are in Colorado Springs today to visit some of Dad's old friends. I love the Arkansas River and can't wait to get back to Salida to play in the hole some more and run Browns Canyon with Dad.
