We had an amazing summer on the Ottawa River. The levels were super high this season due to a good snowpack and lots of rain. The weather wasn't always so good for a tan... but it was perfect for Buseater wave!
We have had Buseater levels on the Ottawa in 6 of 8 months so far this year including August!
It was a good season for me with lots of paddling. As Ottawa Kayak School Director, I had the opportunity to paddle with lots of fun people from all over the world. I also had a few weeks to coach with our Keener Program for junior kayakers. Things are a little bit quieter now and the water has dropped to lower levels... but I'm still hoping for Buseater in September???
