Jase is a third generation Rock Island native and was one of the very first people to come work at JK. He has been here from the start and has seen the evolution of a kayak company first hand. A master kayak assembler, he is the "go to guy" if you need a boat fast. He's a fun guy to have around in the shop and always is ready to work hard and do whatever he can to help out JK. He loves working on boats period.

Jase is pretty much fearless on the rivers which makes sense since he learned to kayak at the hole with the likes of Daniel DeLavergne and some of the other Tdub guys. He has been boating for over 6 years and loves to run new rivers more than anything else. His favorite run is the Upper G and his favorite rapid is Lost Paddle, go figure? His enthusiasm for trying newer and harder runs is contagious around the shop. So if you're on some hard run and see a guy in a Fun styling the crux drop and just having the time of his life, it's probably Jase.
