Brian grew up in the small town of Rogersville in Southwest Missouri. There he played basketball all 4 years of high school. Around the age of 23 he moved to the Pacific Northwest in order to pursue his degree and dream of being a basketball coach.. He was an assistant coach at Mt. Hood Community College when his passion for fishing began to take over. Hitting up the Willamette River for smallmouth bass with his good friend led to him entering a couple local tournaments; winning one and placing in the other. He never turned back.
Not wanting to be held back from always needing a boat to get out on the water Brian began to seek out other means. After talking with a Jackson Kayak team member Joseph Harrick he was sold on a Jackson Kayak. It wasn’t a couple weeks later he found himself in a Coosa HD. With a sports background it’s in his competitive nature that he will be fishing in the Oregon Kayak Bass Fishing tournament series as well as many other tournaments throughout the year held by The Bass Federation and any Northwest Bass Clubs.
