Originally from Connecticut I starting fishing probably before I could walk and starting fishing in Bass tournaments at the age of 16. My passion is service and I joined the Army and served our great country for four years and was able to travel the world. My last duty station was in Fort Riley Kansas where I have lived in the Manhattan Kansas area for over 20 years. I was introduced to Kayak Angling several years ago and was hooked on not just the fishing, but the community of great men and women who share a unique camaraderie and community that is unlike any other in the fishing world. In 2014 I started competitive tournaments with the Midwest Kayak Fishing Series and Kayakapalooza and continued to meet the network of anglers this sport has. Service has been a huge part of my life and being able to help with Heroes on The Water and working with soldiers can be as rewarding as any fishing trip!
Writing is also a way to share the fishing bug and I have been working with Kayak Angler Magazine online with several projects with destinations, rigging, and tournament coverage. Make sure to give me a follow on twitter @kayakkings785
