My fishing obsession began when I was just eight years old. My parents assisted me in catching my very first fish; an 18 pound king salmon. That single fish sparked my hobby and helped it grow to what it is today. My family and I are avid anglers, kayak enthusiasts, and outdoorsmen. We get out on our Jackson kayaks as often as we possibly can.
I attend school full time, work, and volunteer within my community. I hope to earn a degree in Criminal Justice and Conservation.
For the past few years I have been involved in bass fishing tournaments on bass boats. It was two years ago that I decided to give kayak fishing a try. Now I am hooked, pun intended. I love the independence, affordability, and the ease of fishing areas inaccessible with a bass boat.
My target species are smallmouth, largemouth, northern pike, musky, walleye, and salmon. My preferred methods of fishing are casting and jigging.
I am from Clinton Township, Michigan. I am fortunate enough to live in Southeast Michigan where I am surrounded by the Great Lakes and one of the greatest smallmouth lakes in the country, Lake St. Clair. There is also a plethora of inland lakes in my tri-county area that are abundant in freshwater gamefish.
