The Phoenix - Kayak Instruction Video

Sometimes, being silly is the best way to be creative. The Phoenix is a perfect example of that. “Hey look, I am floating into the hole upside down.” Then that turns into, hey look, I can get my stern out of the water while upside down in the Fun. Then that turns into, “Watch this… I am going to go into the hole upside down, lift my rear end up just before hitting the hole, and the hole will loop me right side up, Kind of like a zero to hero in whitewater- a rise from the ashes type move, like a Phoenix, “down, but not out!”
