Definitely an upgrade over the original seat straps. Wish they were provided for free since the original straps fail so easily. The metal buckle has broken on 2 of our boats so far. Still love Jackson.

Much heavier duty than the original the original broke within the first use. still not the strongest system, but looks a lot better than the original.
