I fish every two days overnight on the Galveston Bay and occasionally in the surf in my Bite Angler. Absolute game changer when compared to my last yak. I am 6'4" and 265lbs. This thing is rock solid even as heavy as I am. Handles the flats beautifully as well. Tracks great moves across the water easily. The large deck is perfect for handling large Redfish or whatever else is biting. plenty of room in the front or back for a cooler, live well, and tackle. The seat is awesome too. I've read a lot of reviews that claim there's a pole going through the back that is uncomfortable.... its a strap... adjust it to however tight you want it and its great. I sit often times for 8hrs plus with no complaints. 10 out of 10 recommend this product. My favorite thing about this boat is the durability of the components. The plastic is the best there is, the hardware is stainless and doesn't corrode, clearly this company put a lot of thought into making this a yak to last for many years under the abuse of a sportsman. The Jackson Bite Angler is an incredible kayak. It is a fantastic length, width, and weight for an all around kayak. I have had a Bite for 3 years and had it on dozens of different streams, lakes, and larger rivers. It is a fantastic kayak for the money. Incredibly stable, and very fishable. An amazing kayak that is durable, convenient to transport, and great for beginner or expert kayakers alike.

Love fishing out of it. But in fast moving water it tends to flip over. Am no pro by no means. Easy to us on the lake and ponds. Wish the seat could sit closer to the boat.
