Drawing on our expertise in hull design for dynamic water conditions and collaborating closely with our fishing team, the Coosa X is a true JK Team Signature Watercraft. The Coosa X is characterized by its stability, maneuverability, easy rigging options, and a host of innovative features.
Featuring increased bow volume for river running and maneuvering through moving water, along with a versatile deck layout for various rigging setups, the Coosa X is crafted to be our finest kayak yet for river and small-water fishing.
The Coosa X comes equipped with the Jackson Kayak Comfort Seat 5.0. Designed with a deeper ergonomic base for better posture and lower center of gravity, the 5.0 delivers improved support, increased comfort, and a more connected feel on the water. It’s the most advanced version of our iconic seat system, now standard across the board.
- Large bow hatch with paddle stager
- TriTrak system provides almost unlimited gearing solutions. Using the channels in the TriTrak, installing electronics and hiding cables out of the way is a breeze
- Gear track located in key areas for more rigging options
- The bow and stern are designed with trolling and electric motor installation in mind. This is due to an adaptable four-bolt pattern on the stern and a flattened, mountable area on the bow, along with geometry to add foot-controlled steering
- Bow geometry lets you easily add a bow-mounted anchor system
- Drag chain management system in stern
- Jackson’s patented EZ Hi-Lo Seating System takes comfort to new levels and allows you to raise and lower your seat with one hand
- Footpegs allow for in-gunwale rod management, providing secure, protected storage for up to four rods to be safely stowed on either side of the seat along the gunwales
- Oversized transducer scupper will handle most fishfinder transducers
- Round rear hatch for access into the stern of the kayak
- Adjustable carry handles.
- Anchor Passthrough Tube now fully factory installed and included.

Love our boats. My wife and I fly fish some very skinny rivers to large rivers. We could not be more happy. When it comes to fishing, my favorite thing to do in this world, I'm not cutting any corners. There is simply no better all around boat for a fly angler. So stable, I feel very safe in the boat and they are nimble. Seriously, we are in love with them.
Question for the engineers at Jackson… Is there an optimal seat position, forward/backwards, that is 'the best” in terms of both tracking and higher riding bow?

The open deck design with how customisable it is makes it the perfect river boat. This kayak can handle lakes, rivers and the best part, it handles skinny waters like a champ.

As a self proclaimed river rat, I've owned a lot of different kayaks over the years. I am tough on my gear and have very high expectations of what I want a river yak to be. The Coosa X is by far my favorite river kayak. It does and has everything you could possibly want out of a moving water kayak. Solid stability, turn on a dime maneuverability, float on wet grass draft, and endless features. It sets the standard on what every river kayak should be.

This Kayak is a beast on the River. I have used it on all of my local rivers and no matter if you paddle it or add a motor to it you can't stop it on the river. I took someone up through a section of fast water last year and even though they had not done it before they cruised right through it thanks to this amazing platform. I love the open concept of this kayak and how you have unlimited potential for rigging. You can keep it simple and clean or put every accessory you want on it.
