I installed these over existing factory pads to increase snugness in cockpit. Installed easily and appears well-built. This is a versatile product that could save someone a messy glue job. A second strap on bottom would improve product but it works as is.

Bought these to replace the hip pads in our Jackson Duo. The securing straps need to be longer. It was 2 inches shorter for the rear cockpit and about one inch shorter than the front cockpit. I had to rough the pads for the rear cockpit through the same hole as the back band strings. Come on Jackson, make them a little longer to fit all your boats. We can trim the access off. Besides that issue, pads were good. Really glad they came with new shims.

I just replaced all the very worn outfitting (seat, back band & hip pads) in my river runner and now the kayak looks brand new! I expect he ripstop fabric to last and hold up very well.
