While many of our kayaks feature the ‘four hole pattern’ on the stern to accommodate accessories, the Bite series does not, making mounting accessories a challenge at times. Meet the Bite Series accessory mounting plate, so now you can mount your PowerPole, QuickStop Anchor System, Transom Mount XD system, Torqeedo, or any other accessory requiring the four hole pattern.

Not compatible with 2019 & 2020 Bite models.

YOU MUST PURCHASE FOUR 4- 1/4x20 flat socket cap bolts and 4 1/4 x20 locking nuts. You can either buy them from your local hardware store, or find them easily via quick search on Amazon or Walmart.

    Works

Plate seems well made. Bought it to add a motor. Had to add rubber washers so I could mount Bo by motor bracket. At this point seem to work as meant to.

Plate seems well made. Bought it in anticipation of adding a motor down the road.

    Almost Perfect

This mounting plate is designed to lay flat on the stern of the kayak. However, the mounting area on the kayak is not perfectly flat. Also the recessed areas on this plate for the power pole mounting hardware was not near deep enough to keep the nut and bold from sticking out and scratching up they kayak. It was a simple fix to add a few nuts and washers to elevate the plate off the stern and create the necessary clearance.
