If you liked the Big Tuna you’ll love this.
I paddled a Big Tuna for eight years and covered hundreds upon hundreds of river miles in that time. I told friends that if I got another kayak it would be replaced with another.
Every little nitpick I had about the Big Tuna was addressed here:
1) I didn’t have a need for the live well under my feet. Solved
2) The rear dry hatch ate up valuable deck space for battery/crate usage. Solved with over a foot of open space.
3) A better iteration of High Low seating. Solved.
4) Tri Track galore. Check
5) Even shallower draft than the Big Tuna ? Solved. I fish some extremely bony rivers and the Take Two offers beyond belief shallow draft. If not acquainted with anything but smaller kayaks you will be surprised here.
6) The Big Tunas front and rear dry hatches compressed the paddlers usable space into two feet less than this open design. Problem solved.
7) The Take Two is wider, with thinner gunnels than the Big Tuna. Of course this attributes better stability but what it also solved is affording more space from your seats base to the gunnel sides.
I run a Coosa X in extremely bony water and when fishing solo. The Take Two is what I run on my winter adventures and have zero trepidation of coming home safe. Words cannot describe how many good memories my favorite fishing partner (my wife) and I have gotten to experience together because of Jackson’s tandem renditions. One kayak to load instead of two, one cost, we’re not separated and or out of sight of each other on the water and has allowed for some great conversation along the way not to mention seeing her land big fish right in front of me which I get reminded of occasionally. :)
Thank you JK, we love it.

Take Two - Fishing Machine
I can’t say enough good things about this kayak. So much room. I fish alone 90% of the time and keep the seat in the middle of the yak. Basically a floating dock. If you’re under 275lbs you should be able to stand in this boat no problem. Surprisingly easy to paddle alone too. Tracks really well. I rigged mine with green LED’s on the front for flounder gigging and will add the Jackson trolling motor mount and Minn Kota Riptide in the near future. Will be a fishing machine. The T-tracks are my favorite part of this kayak. Almost covers the whole perimeter of the boat. Very customizable. All in all I have been very well pleased. Great job on this one Jackson!

TakeTwo
On our last camping trip to Fort DeSoto (South West Florida) we were lucky enough to find a local dealer "Bill Jackson" that had these in stock. The staff was super friendly and was able to answer all our questions. We do a lot of wild life photography and was looking for a stable platform to work off of. The seats are awesome and very confrontable. In fact the seats was the final selling point, especially the hi / low settings. Plenty of mounting points for go pros and cup holders etc. The only con would be the weight at just over 100 pounds, and a little slow to get started. Once you get it moving it tracks well. Keep in mind we didn't buy this one to race, we have others for that. If your looking for stability and lots of room you can't go wrong with this one. I'm very happy with this one and would buy it again.
