This came with 4 plastic screws to go through 4 little holes in this seat pad, but there are no pre-drilled holes in the hard plastic frame of the seat in the play boat to attach them to. No instructions as to what to do and did not realize when ordering this as my son’s kayak instructor’s recommendation, that it is not compatible with all Jackson play boat models. We have a newer play boat. I do not know about kayaks but my teen just started the sport a year ago with a coach and for someone new to equipment, I wish there had been more details on this as we were unable to affix via the screws as I’m uncomfortable drilling new holes into the playboat seat frame. The coach temporarily used adhesive spray for now.

I use an extra seat pad on top of my normal one to ''boost'' me up into the thigh hooks better and improve my leverage during play. I also use it to soften the hits creeking. In between uses, I fold it in half and stick it in the back of my boat. This way I can use it in different boats. If worried about a swim, you can either glue it in or poke hole and tie it off to the accessory loops behind he seat.
