The 'river-running' niche - class 2-4+ - is where most paddlers prefer to paddle, and the Flow is all the boat you need for day-tripping on just about anything without the extra length, volume and width of the overnight-ready ''Creek-boats' like Gnarvana. Easier to lean side to side, easier to spin in tight spots, easier to roll, easier to carry. For sizing, I tried both Medium and Large at 5'9'' 190 and liked both! Medium was lighter and sporty on class 3-4 but for class 5 the large felt far more forgiving - stayed on top better - and still felt super maneuverable. So - if weight is a primary factor.. or you're short.. you can push the top of the weight range a lot, but if 'easy' is priority the Large Flow didn't feel as ''cavernous'' as most ''Size Large'' models.
