Foot rail Peg
I needed to replace the factory original peg because it had broken.
The design is good but I think the peg will again break with too much foot pressure on it. I needs to be of a stronger material. Also, the shipping costs was more than the costs of the peg. OVERALL RATING IS GOOD. Pricing not competive. -
Foot rail peg
Slide right on the rail and locked down like it should. It’s a little larger foot surface which I like and has Jackson on the surface. I like more than the old one and will be getting a new one to match for the other side.

Kayak Peg
Great product as usual. someone from the shipping called me to verify my address was right because I was in an odd location. I verified it was correct and they sent part out. I appreciate the extra care they took to get it right. Companies don't do that anymore.

Jackson Kayak Footrail Peg
This peg has got a great non-skid surface for your foot, and large surface area. Unfortunately, it is extremely weak at the point where the peg and the slide lock meet. As a result, it breaks very easily under pressure. This peg needs strengthening at this critical point. I have experienced 4 pegs being broken in just 2 years, by multiple different experienced kayakers. Please consider improving the design to this otherwise good part.

Jackson rouge foot peg
Foot peg was as expected. Good price for the foot peg. Only complaint was the shipping cost was as much as the foot peg and I live less than an hour from the Jackson factory.
