Orion 35
My wife bought me an Orion 35 for Christmas to supplement my awesome Jackson Mayfly. The cooler itself is solid and I was excited until I found that gear tracks are not included on the cooler and that there are two ugly pre drilled holes on each side where the once standard tracks should be. Now I have to pay $50 to order the tracks for my fishing accessories. Poor form Jackson....

Orion 35
Came sooner than expected. Greatly quality definitely worth the price. Great size not too big and not too small. Holds ice great for days. Would recommend to others over similar brands. Only disappointed because it didn’t come with a pad for the top.

Orion Core 35 Cooler
I worked in the outdoors industry a few years ago, and used coolers made by Orion and other major competitors. Orions were the staff favorites.
First of all, you can actually put 35 quarts into an Orion 35 quart cooler, as opposed to some competitors’s products. Second, the coolers have steel hardware where appropriate, and weight saving aluminum in other spots. I like the bottle openers at every corner. The carrying handles are comfortable to use. All coolers at this price point seem to keep ice about as well as one other, so it’s these little touches the differentiate the best.
I have one complaint with several Orion 35s I have used. Sometimes it is very difficult to open the lid. (Hydraulic adhesion?) Sometimes you can pop the lid open with no issue, other times you need a screwdriver to break the seal. I’ve never experienced this in the larger Orions. Jackson, please come up with a solution.
Overall, I think the Orion core series is the best value in coolers. Period.

Best cooler on the market. The buckle locks are the game changer. My wife hates all the other rubber strap coolers.

Core 35 Cooler
Really nice cooler. I like how the handles are flush with the front of the cooler so they don't catch on anything and having a bottle opener on every corner is pretty handy. This cooler keeps ice better than any other cooler I have had and, I really like the coolers as well. I highly recommend this product.
