Rudder cable
Should be sold as a pair!!! To my knowledge all kayaks need to turn in two directions. The cable seems good but it’s only one cable and not a pair. It will now cost another ~$40 ($20 for 2nd cable plus ~$18 for FedEx ground)! At least offer USPS as a shipping option since for this item it could be just a few buck to ship to me. Very disappointing…$20/cable seems very expensive!

Rudder cable
For the price of the cable and shipping, I should have bought aftermarket. This did not even include splice sleeves. Over priced for what it is.

Rudder cable replacement
The cable slid easily into the cable tube. I was worried that the end without the foot rail attachment (the end that slides into the tube) would be frayed from where it was cut; I was happy to see that the end of the cable was covered in a substance making insertion into the tube really easy. Kind of like the plastic tips of a shoelace.
