Steering Retro Kit Coosa FD | Cruise FD
The retrofit steering upgrade improves rudder control. The handles have been upgraded to a larger knob making it a lot easier to hold and the linkage on the back is has been expanded outward giving you a wider throw on the rudder. This lessens the need for "feathering" the rudder while tracking.

Great product
What a difference this kit makes! Huge improvement, much easier to steer/maneuver. Easy to install…just make sure you take good care of the stop collars. Highly recommended as it removed all the aggravation from steering with the old setup.

Steering Retrofit Kit
Replaced 2018 Cruise FD steering and rudder with new version, night and day how much easier it is to get the kayak tracking straight. Don't hesitate if you have an older model, replace steering, rudder, and prop and you will be extremely happy for under $100 it will change your kayak massively. Matt was really good answering questions, customer service at Jackson is #1.
